I had a great time over the Easter weekend at the Easter and Anzac Exhibition! Over 150 people came through including from lots from Wellington, Waikato, Canterbury, Northland, Manawatu, Wanganui, Wairarapa, Masterton, Polish, Slovakian, Japanese, Dutch, English, Australian & Chinese. Engagement varied from a quick walk through to those who went round and read every piece. Reactions to there being Bible verses on some of them was interesting:- one boy asked his mum, "Is that bible?" A man asked why they were there. Others seemed to leave when they saw them while for some it was something new. I enjoyed the 50 conversations I had with viewers including students, engineers, teachers, business owners, chef, mums, dads, retired, farmers, accountant, children, artists, photographers, barista... 10 exhibition books were bought or gifted including by a English major student who wanted to show her poetry teacher, 2 young Japanese siblings travelling and working in NZ, an English couple who intend to use it in their homilies in the Cotswalds, and a NZ art teacher.
